This is Canadian art rock from Montreal. It sounds like a modern mash up of Talking Heads and David Bowie. Really solid!
It's like a Renaissance Fair on Acid (and I mean that in the best way possible).
Favourite songs: The Mending of the Gown, The Taming of the Hands That Came Back to Life, "Up on Your Leopard, Upon the End of Your Feral Days", For the Pier (And Dead Shimmering), Winged/Wicked Things, Stallion
Least favourite songs: The Courtesan Has Sung

Chaos, not usually in a good way

A bit all over the place and messy, but with some moments of brilliance. It’s not an album I can see myself coming back to, but I’m glad I listened to it. There’s definitely enough going on here to see why it deserves its place on the list.
