Oingo Boingo just feels like a poor man's XTC to me, but this one felt more like the circus version of Duran Duran. I know I can really like Oingo Boingo, but this album just feels like going through the motions. Oingo Boingo should be on the list, though, I do agree with that.

Hell yeah Oingo Boingo!

Rated 8/10

slick 80s bops with punchy horns. needs a revisit.

Rated 8/10

Found my way to this one when I was younger, via Danny Elfman's film score work. It's very funny to have the vocabulary to now contextualize it as having short flashes of absolute genius, but mixed in with a lot of forgettable New Wave sensibility.

Rated 6/10

Not a massive new wave fan, but this
One was good fun, think you could make room for it on the list.

Rated 8/10

Like a more commercial-sounding Devo. Weird, but not alienatingly weird.
