This was great! I especially loved "Madan". Keita has a very listenable voice.

Rated 8/10

This was very pleasant, traditional African music with a good danceable groove to it, easy music to put on in the background. I'm completely out of my depth when talking about this style of music, plus I have no idea who the guy is, but it's enjoyable.

Should it be in the main list: Yes. I know nothing about this artist or this style of music, but I'd approve of it being in the main list just because it's both different and good.

Top 3 tracks: Yamore, Iniagige, Koukou

There's actually been quite a few Malian albums that have come across this thing, and I don't think I've had a bad time with any of them. My personal favorite remains "Music in Exile" from Songhoy Blues (and I think it's a crime they cut that one from later book editions), but this was a very nice time start to finish.

Fantastic!

Favourite songs: Madan, Yamore, Moussolou, Here

Pleasant enough, but too long like most 2000s albums, and I think the magic of the first song was really all I needed, not a whole album. Always appreciate more of this stuff, though! Many of the African albums on the original generator always felt like an afterthought, and they feel it even more now when compared to this.

Yea this is cool but its so outside my regular musical palette that I have no idea what to do with it or what to rate it.

Loses a star for having Martin Solveig turn up, but otherwise flawless

Yes, west African jazz, the list could be improved so much with more diversity like this. Beautiful music.

Why is this not on Spotify?
