Perfectly fine, just not my speed. Wouldn't put it on the list myself.

Singing that's alternatingly breathy and nasal, forceful and whiney, smokey and warm - very controlled and earnest. Piano based songs with a bit of jazzyness and and a lot of open mic singer songwriter. Best with the fuller arrangements that create a nice warm ambience ala Fiona Apple, worst when it really hinges on the vocals purely. Slow, contemplative, autumnal.

Nice to encounter but I won't be staying.

Eternal Flame, Christobel and an Anohni cameo, filled with melodic and lyrical beautify, what more could you want?

She has a really great voice. It's interesting to see that she's worked with several other artists I already knew. I love Anohni and the Johnsons in particular.

Never heard of this before, but lovely little pop record added to my rotation.

Solo acts/singer-songwriter music living or dying for me based entirely on how interesting I think the backing music is. This one bounced off me.

Very 3. Much drama.
