One all conquering single that’s a definitive piece of the pop punk/emo canon and a handful of other tracks that approximate that and a few really dire slow songs (Hear You Me is shockingly bad). Some decent hooks and ok riffs, but it’s mostly a bit of a slog.

Lets be real, this was the soundtrack of the decade. I am too familiar and too biased to say if it actually holds up. I can only say I love it

Oh you mean THE Jimmy Eat World Album? The one that took over the world and remains one of the pop punk canon? easy 5.

Kind of peaks of Sweetness then drags from there, but I'll admit this was better than I would expect, considering before this I kind of despised The Middle. Now I think it's pretty solid. Probably would like one of their earlier albums more, though.

This is just catchy power pop/rock with some emo influences and really early 2000s vibes. It’s catchy, melodic, and confident in its sound, but also safe.
The album hooks you quickly, but loses its grip just as fast.

Hell yeah! An album I came to late, but loved for many years. I don't think I had heard anything outside of the big 3 singles for ages, but was glad to be reminded of the light and shade of the whole track list.
A band who were more influential than many people know, and who were still as good as ever when they played trnsmt a couple of years ago.

Very fun album, which is weird because I hated Green Day, and this doesn't seem all that different. Mysteries for the ages

One of the best albums, bands from
The genre at the time, think this has aged better than the others too. One of my wife’s all time favourites too, so is played frequently in our house still.
