Rated 2/10
Tepid indie with a 90s alt rock sound, slow paced songs but with rapid drumming, and bloated orchestral arrangements that prevent it from ever taking off. The best parts are a bit like the loose ambience of Broken Social Scene - but there's way too much aimless strumming and repetitive monotonous padding. What actually even is ‘art rock’ ? Seems to mean overthought middle brow tedium.

I liked Everybody's Weird a fair bit. A few other tracks were pretty good too, but it didn't all grab me. A lower three.

Belgium in a record. Beige. Magnolia walls and plain crisps/chips. All of which are fine, but a tad bit dull
Rated 6/10
Belgian indie is better than American indie in every way, but it's still indie...
Really picked up steam by the end of the record, but not enough to redeem the boring first half of the record.
Favourite songs: Everybody's Weird, Instant Street, The Ideal Crash, Put the Freaks Up Front
Least favourite songs: "One Advice, Space", Magdalena
