NSB is the poster child of folky, drony post-rock music that's feels more like a portal to a different dimension that's meant to be enjoyed in a certain atmosphere and mindset than an album of songs.

This one evokes the cold melancholy of the desolate woods. Maybe that's the reason why it didn't hit as it probably should've, because I listened to it in the middle of summer. Still, I applaud the effort. The atmosphere is great, and the sparse vocals are haunting and fit perfectly. Maybe lovers of post-rock will find more to love here than me.
