Blood Operatives of the Barium Senset

Blood Operatives of the Barium Sunset wears its influences proudly on its sleeve, which includes Tom Waits and Leonard Cohen, which means you're getting Waits' atmosphere of the underground society with Cohen's/Waits' style of storytelling.

Overall, a net positive. Particularly enjoyed the back half, with Dracula Drizzi, Ballad of Colonel Fawcett and Missy Undertaker being favorites.

You could base your entire White Wolf vampire character around this album, a bizarre trip through the dark side of Americana, brief sketches of fringe, outlaw characters and close encounters with the Devil. Blood drops in the dust, desert meditations on death.
