Clara Crocodilo

The earliest album I can find in the Vanguarda paulista movement is from 1979, and this album is 1980. So we're looking at an album that's right at the vanguard of the scene. A scene where artists with no access to recording contacts just made their own music, embracing the DIY aesthetic and all its attendant creativity and unpredictability. This album helped define the very heart of the movement, unafraid to embrace the weird, the carnivalesque, and the unmelodic.
