Orpheus Listening Challenge 2026: #2. A visual kei album. (26th Album)
Sounds really... Japanese. Sounds racist, I know, but it has that slight bombast to it and the sort of grandiosity very prominent in Japanese visual media. In fact, the enjoyment you'll get from this stems from your enjoyment of said visual media, since this one heavily inspires/is inspired by it. I was never a fan of anime, so the eclectic sound of keys, violins, and the vaguely perilous energy of the vocalist just doesn't do it for me. In fact, I'm a bit annoyed honestly.
