A recovering heroin addict at a hospital where I used to volunteer recommended me this album a few years back, and only recently did I remember to listen to it. She told me that she listened to this guy in the late 90s when she used to travel through Europe.
As for me and my thoughts on it. It's good, a bit repetitive, but I like the ominous tone and the middle eastern influence that's present throughout, not only this release, but most of his catalog. Even if you're not into techno, like I'm not, I'm sure you'll like it. It's on the longer side, sure, but it doesn't feel like your run-of-the-mill techno, more of a dubby ambiental piece if anything. Perfect for relaxing. Recommended
