Bessie Smith Album

Orpheus Listening Challenge 2023: #37 An album from the 1930s (33rd Album)

A simple little album of blues tunes, sung by the ever so influential voice of Bessie Smith, and accompanied by a jazz trumpet. The songs are all in the same "verse-jazz trumpet-verse" way, so there isn't much to say in that department. As is with most older music, this is only good as a historic document.
