This unknown gem is an escape from all the shitty music you've been listening to. Two women, with guitar, theremin, and voice, weave a minimalist album of enchantment that has no beginning or end, just like chitotetochitotetochitoteto... I'm conflicted about them having only one album, though. It'd be nice to hear more from them--perhaps they could've explored man'yo-gana more--but there is something to be said for created a one-and-done jewel. 47 minutes of peace.

Rated 7/10

Avant-folk done in a myriad of different ways, with all the circles forming a Venn diagram, with mysteriousness being in the dead center of it.

This one has two women interplaying between themselves with different instruments, creating an atmosphere akin to the birth of a world: at first, it's an empty canvas, but as draws further and further, more colors get added in (or in this case, styles) to create a complete little ecosystem, sustainable on its own.
