Don't love live albums, don't love the Who...not a great combo for me. 2/5

Rated 8/10

Here's a thing: I don't like live albums, especially when I'm listening on headphones, because when you hear the audience applause I immediately imagine they're clapping for me and I feel a bit silly. Am I strange?
Anyway, this live album is good because you can't hear the audience (much). Also, The Who are a lot better, and more Led Zeppy, than I remember. They really knew what they were doing.

Rated 6/10

Maybe being a little harsh as in rates the expanded version, very good live album deserves its place on the list, but a lot of covers, missing some of the Who’s best songs, and felt the start and end of the album much better than the middle. So doesn’t quiet make the 4 stars mark for me.

Rated 6/10

I do like the Who, but I'm not massively feeling this live album. They do have a good energy about them, but, as with seemingly everyone else on here, I am puzzled by its inclusion. I'd much rather hear the studio songs.

Rated 4/10

I do not have an inherent issue with live albums being on the list, but man do they like to have parts that are too long for their own good. Now, I know that's the point, you want a long show to keep you entertained, but in listening it often is just boring, and there's no exception ere. It does not help this is my first album by The Who, so not a great intro, but I'm sure I'll enjoy it more when we get around to the studio albums. For now, we're tied to a pretty mediocre live album that certainly had its charming moments but otherwise is a weird addition. Must be big, though, as I see it at every record shop I've ever gone to.

Rated 8/10

Point 1: Live albums shouldn't make it on a 1001 album list
Point 2: I'e heard The Who better live
Point 3: It's still a really good album, a tight and amazing live band

So... a 3,5 star?

Rated 6/10

Keith Moon is a great rock drummer and the cover of Young Man Blues slays, but this didn't wow me quite as much as I expected

Rated 4/10

Clearly talented musicians, but I've never really connected with their work. This album didn't change that for me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

Rated 4/10
