Frigid Stars LP

God bless my brother for getting me this LP. Cold, ominous and brooding at the same time, Frigid Stars is as its name implies: frigid as in cold and distant, and stars as in lonely and distant. It's essential slowcore stuff with monotonous guitars, sad lyrics and an overall pessimitsic sound.

I would advise everyone who wants to start listening to slowcore to begin here, headfirst. Like a caring father throwing his son into the deep end of the pool to have him learn to swim. You either drown or come out the victor, and in this case, you want to drown.
