Slipknot make a groove metal album...and it actually works? Favorite track: Psychosocial

For arena ready hard rock anthems, it's tough to do better than this collection. Favorite track: Rock and Roll Ain't Noise Pollution

Something about this record made me feel a little uncomfortable. Favorite track: Boston Rag

A rollicking rocking good time. Maximum R&B indeed. Favorite track: Won't Get Fooled Again

Cultural and musical landmark that stands the test of time. Favorite track: Straight Outta Compton

Decent enough fast paced pop. I likely won't revisit this one though. Favorite track: Love Plus One

Really well done, supercharged punk effort. Favorite track: Let's Submerge

Very well done, frolicking country. I feel like this album would always put me in a good mood. Favorite track: I've Got a Tiger By the Tail

Closing out the ditch trilogy in style. One of Neil's best records. Favorite track: Walk On

Contains everything you'd love about a White Stripes album. Favorite track: I'm Shakin'

I've yet to find a situation or mood where this album doesn't suit. Great atmosphere and manages to be completely engaging despite no vocal accompaniment. Favorite track: Tha

Frenetic, ferocious, and unapologetically brash. This record demands that play it as loud as possible. Favorite track: Ace of Spades

A soulful and epic journey from Chef. Favorite track: Walk On By

Beautiful voice, but the music didn't really do much for me. Favorite track: Nothing Compares 2 U

Funky Bowie with gospel backup singers? Yes please. Favorite track: Fame

Comes off like an eerie movie soundtrack, which works at times but I can't really see myself going back to this one. Favorite track: The Man With the Golden Arm

Musically very engaging and intricate. Vocally, not so much which is what's keeping this from a higher score. Favorite track: Barmy

Some very catchy guitar hooks which make for some excellent songs. Favorite track: 40'

Ominous and brooding, really sets the mood for the movie it soundtracks. Favorite track: Playground Love

The best Bob Dylan record if you ask me. Beautiful music, beautiful lyrics, it's all there. Favorite track: Visions of Johana
