To all the Americans out there who moan about the British music they find on here. If you think this is somehow better then you’re welcome to it.

Much preferred this to the ‘usual’ TS fare. The stripped back nature of these songs was nice to hear and was quite good in places. Certainly better than a lot of the dross we’ve had on here.

What a great album. The funky sound and the vibe it gives off just makes you feel happy. Some great musicianship and very listenable. Perfect accompaniment to my morning today.

Grew on me more with each listen. Some tracks better than others but overall I quite liked this.

Had to give it a few listens to fully get into it and fully appreciate it. Took me a while to fully decide just how much I liked it.

Pleasant enough but nothing really stood out that much and by the end I couldn’t really tell if I’d particularly liked any of the songs. Nothing bad but equally nothing exceptional.

These guys may have some really important messages for the world that they can get across through the medium of their song lyrics. I guess we’ll just never know if that’s the case.

I’m assuming the draw was always the live shows and the experience of the performative side of the act. There isn’t much to get too excited about on the album. It’s alright but doesn’t set the pulse racing too much. I assume the concert experience was when this music became more alive.

I was expecting not to like this at all but pleasantly surprised how much I did actually enjoy it.

Look it’s clear she’s very highly regarded and is good at what she does. But this sounds exactly the same as the other albums we’ve had. And after a while it gets to the point where enough is enough and let’s just move on.
