Really solid 60s folk/country. I am surprised this didn't do better at the time, the songwriting is really strong and it's enjoyable throughout.

Decently entertaining psych folk. I think I would enjoy it more if I wasn't comparing it to Pink Floyd but it's still a fun listen, if a bit basic at times.

When I think of “indie rock”, this album is the one I think of. I’d say it’s the quintessential indie rock album. It’s so freaking good.

Really beautiful and sad, but mixed with a sense of whimsy. It's cool how it's so experimental but in a very subtle and unobtrusive way.

Obviously one of the biggest classics in this list and for good reason. While it's not my typical fair, it's super enjoyable and layered. Lyrically it's got a lot of great songs too.

Pretty standard fair 90s alt rock to be honest. I enjoy it as a fan of the genre but it doesn't blow me away in any capacity. Your biggest song being a cover isn't a great look either.

The covers here are super interesting. They sound familiar and yet very different. I'm a big fan of sitar so I greatly enjoyed this. Adding in the Moog at points was a very interesting choice as well.

Wow this is a blast from the past for me. I was really into these guys back then and for some reason I haven't listened to them in many years. It still 100% holds up as some gorgeous indie rock. Bradford Cox is such an interesting person.

It's pleasant and upbeat. Chamber pop has always felt a bit cloying to me though. As far as that goes though it's relatively inoffensive.

One of the greats of the genre for a reason. Truly pioneering and endlessly imitated to this day. Plus the songs just rip.
