Malcolm McLaren's 1983 album Duck Rock is a groundbreaking global fusion record that introduced early hip-hop, scratching, and diverse world music styles to mainstream UK and Western pop audiences

Didn't pay the original artist though. Classic Brit. 1.5/5. Raising to 2.

The only thing that could lose this points is knowing "Silver Springs" was left off the original and released as a B-side to Go Your Own Way. One of the greatest B-sides ever? Anyway, before I even hit play it's 5/5.

Tough to top Rumours. The self titled album when Buckingham and Nicks joined is more important than this one. 3/5.

Context: "'Sweetheart Of The Rodeo' changed the world of progressive country music forever, and it was a wild thing to experience back in 1968." Rating: Sucks in 2026. 2/5.

It's not a perfect album by any means but it was a hell of a way to go out. It's cool to see he took inspiration from To Pimp a Butterfly, which is still one of the most unique rap albums ever created. 4/5.

Familiarity breeds contempt. This list having an over exposure to psychedelic rock and progressive rock really makes it difficult to appreciate these styles. This does feel/sound better than the majority though. It also made me want to relisten since I was passively listening the first time around. That has to be a good sign. The production sounds great. Theres a real clarity in the instruments, the vocals and I liked the use of panning. 4/5.
