Always an interesting listen. This album cover has captivated me since I was super young, finding it in my parents record collection. As an early teen I tried to listen, but don't think I ever full appreciated it until later in life. Still might be slightly overrated in the overall scheme of things. 4/5

Album has some great highs, and some so so lows. Not quite the masterpiece that is Thriller, but solid overall. 4/5

Solid...I enjoy the sounds of SW. Would revisit as it gives me a few good songs to add to my 80s repertoire. 3.5/5

Pretty much what you would expect from Bob Marley. I think this is my first time hearing the studio version of No Woman No Cry...completely understand why the live version has become the standard. 3.5/5

Sebadoh has been an enigma for me...absolutely a band I should love (probably more than Dino Jr.) but one that continues to elude me. This album was no different. Very much a GbV formula that falls a little flat. 2.5/5

The Fall...every time I listen I hear so many of the contemporary bands that I love. Massive influence. Mark E. Smith has such an amazing delivery. 4/5

Pretty blah. Folk type singer songwriter can work for me, but Fred Neil cannot. 1.5/5

The one that started it all. I was a fan of Wilco before this album, but this one set me down a path toward them becoming what today is likely my favorite band. Such an interesting back story. So many interesting sounds. Just a labor of love (and hate) that ended in a masterpiece. 5/5

Really weird album for the late 70s. Had never heard of this dude before, but it almost sounded like it could be contemporary to today. It didn't amaze me though, but was solid. 3/5

Nowhere near the album unknown pleasures is, but still a worthy listen. However, as a big Joy Division fan I almost never go back to this one. 4/5

Love this album, but had largely forgotten it. It was my #1 back in 2018 (not a great year for albums). So great front to back...a true no skips. 5/5

Have always enjoyed myself some Earle. His Transcendental Blues might be the first pseudo-country album I ever purchased. This was another great entry into his catalogue, but relatively typical. Nothing amazing, just super solid. 3.5/5
