Rated 8/10

This album is like trip hop, but it sounds like impending doom. Kinda like if anxiety had a soundtrack.... If that makes sense. It's not bad..... Weird as fuck, but solid.

Favourite songs: Machine Gun, We Carry On, Silence, The Rip, Hunter, Plastic, Threads

Least favourite songs: Deep Water

Fantastic, weird 80's glam punk. Similar to New York Dolls or Motley Crue. There is actually a tie in with Motley Crue and this band. Razzle, the drummer for Hanoi Rocks was killed in a car accident in '84. The car was driven by Motley Crue singer, Vince Neil.

Favourite songs: Until I Get You, Back to Mystery City, Lick Summer Love, Beating Gets Faster, Malibu Beach Nightmare, Sailing Down the Tears, Tooting Bec Wreck

Least favourite songs: Ice Cream Summer

If this was the last broadcast, I would shut it off. It took me 2 days to get through. Like Coldplay, but more lame. More obscure British horseshit to add to the pile.

Favourite songs: Satellites, Words, Caught By The River

Least favourite songs: There Goes My Fear, Friday's Dust

Brazilian metal. I've listened to this album before. I love it because they mix native Brazilian precussion and instrumentation with their metal sound, so it ends up being like metal world music. It's solid! It's like Brazilian Slayer.

I remember the first time I ever heard of Sepultura was on that documentary Global Metal. It was Roots Bloody Roots that they played during their interview.

Favourite songs: Roots Bloody Roots, Ratamahatta, Cut-Throat, Straighthate, Spit, Dusted, Endangered Species, Attitude, Dictatorshit, Jasco, Itsari

Least favourite songs: Lookaway

This is the whitest music I've ever heard. It's so...... Beige. Like salted cardboard. Easy listening for sure, but my fuck is it ever bland. Like.... This is the lame shit that white suburban parents listened to. I will say, their cover of The Beatles song Help is pretty solid.

(They Long to Be) Close to You reminds me of a Simpsons episode where Marge installs a new Doorbell that plays that jingle but it gets stuck on and keeps looping over and over. Why do birds.... Suddenly appear...

Fuck that album was boring. I had to listen to it in spurts throughout the day so I didn't fall asleep at work.

Favourite songs: Reason to Believe, Help, Love Is Surrender, We've Only Just Begun, I Kept on Loving You

Least favourite songs: (They Long to Be) Close to You, Another Song,

This album is indie rock similar to PJ Harvey or Hole. Liz Phair has that annoying strong feminist feel to her, similar to Sinead O'Conner. That kinda indie/punk phase. I'm a feminist. Fuck men. Look at my tits. As a matter of fact, the album cover features her tits. Because feminism.... I guess?? Just fuckin weird.

Favourite songs: Fuck and Run, Divorce Song, Never Said, 6'1"

Least favourite songs: Dance of the Seven Veils, Glory, Canary

Today's album is a weird one. It's like electronic jazz, or like electric cabaret music. It's not necessarily bad. It's actually quite interesting. I don't know how I feel about it yet, but it's definately different. May require further listening to give a fair assessment, but upon first listen, it was definately out there.

Favourite songs: Human, Utopia, Pilots

Least favourite songs: Deer Stop

Modern hip hop. Not terrible, I just don't like the modern stuff as much as the old school hip hop, and Kendrick is a big fan of putting dumb fuckin skits in the middle of songs. Also, his rhymes are juvinile as fuck.
For example...

"I pray my dick get as big as the Eiffel Tower so I can fuck the world for 72 hours...."

Wtf...

Favourite songs: m.A.A.d. city, Money Tree, Backseat Freestyle

Least favourite songs: "Bitch, Don't Kill My Vibe", "Sing About Me, I'm Dying of Thirst"

Early krautrock. The two dudes in this band started their careers in different variations of Kraftwerk before branching off on their own. Their stuff is super ambient and chill. I really like it!

Favourite songs: Hero, Leb Wohl, E-Musik, Isi, Seeland

Least favourite songs: After Eight

Pop forward singer songwriter. On this album she has musical accompaniment, which is nice. Her previous works were more acoustic. Such a powerful voice. Super emotional music, so ya gotta be in the right mindset, but it's fantastic!!

Favourite songs: Hello, Send My Love (To Your New Lover), I Miss You, When We Were Young, Remedy, Water Under the Bridge, River Lea, Love in the Dark, All I Ask, Sweetest Devotion

Least favourite songs: if forced to pick, Million Years Ago

Today's album is fantastic folk rock/blues rock/singer-songwriter. Reminds me of upbeat Joni Mitchell or Carole King/Tracy Chapman.

I love finding someone completely new who you wouldn't necessarily have ever stumbled upon Normally. I enjoyed this album so much that I listened to more of her stuff afterwards

Favourite songs: Join the Boys, People, Water With the Wine, Down to Zero, Like Fire, Love and Affection

Least favourite songs: Save Me

5/5

Today's album is like early UK punk mixed with The Doors style of psychadelic rock. Like punk which heavily features keyboards. It's interesting, but nothing to write home about

Favourite songs: Go Buddy Go, London Lady, Choosey Susie, Hanging Around, Sometimes, Ugly

Least favourite songs: Peasant in the Big Shitty

Today's album is like trip hop. It's not bad at all. But it full of dumb fucking skits. Man I hate those, but at least the skits maintain a beat. They aren't just random fucking noises or nonsense, just kinda like super short songs. I still don't like skits, but it didn't detract from the album the way other skits do.

I haven't got a bakers fuck of an idea what the singer is saying, but it doesn't matter, because the beats are solid. The album cover looks like something someone made using Microsoft Word and clip art.

It's actually really fuckin good though. The music is such a vibe. Has a world music feel to it. Pretty solid!

U.R.A.Q.T sampled the Sanford & Son theme song! You can hear Fred Sanford saying "you big dummy" throughout the song lol

Favourite songs: U.R.A.Q.T., Bucky Done Gun, Sunshowers, M.I.A, Amazon, Bingo, "Fire, Fire", Galang, Pull Up the People

Least favourite songs: Banana, Dash the Curry, One For The Head (fuck skits)

5/5

This album goes downhill fast! After the song Lonely, the singers voice changes, and the songs get shittier. Gone are the country folk sensibilities, and they are replaced by terrible indie rock horseshit. Everyone claims Mark is a fantastic song writer, but I couldn't tell ya because I couldn't get past how awful his voice got.

Favourite songs: Firefly, Somewhere, Lonely

Least favourite songs: Pale and Skinny Girl, Jenny, Highway 5
