Kind of ‘meh’ for my taste. He is an ok singer. Sounds like a studio band behind him. Nothing too interesting going on.

I had never heard of this band, but I really enjoyed this one. Fun, fast and loud.
Rated 4/10
It was fine. Pretty typical house for the era.
Love these guys. There’s some interesting stuff here. Too bad it is instrumental only, some lyrics would have put it over the top to great.

Meh, this sounded like a rough attempt at copying better Beatles albums.

I'm not sure if 'Travelling Without Moving' is on this list, but that's the one you need to hear before you die. Not this one.

I’m generally not a fan of the 60s/70s southern rock wave. This is an exception though. I think what sets it apart for me is the superior musicianship (a 6/4 song!). Cripple Creek is just a great one to sing along to. Plus, these guys look like they slept in a train box car for a month on that album cover, so extra points for commitment to the genre.

Really solid album. Lots of range and depth. Not my usual taste in music, but you can’t help but like it.
Rated 4/10
Maybe this was more interesting in it's day, but there was not much going on here. A competent band, but nothing remarkable.
Rated 4/10
Edited down to 12 tracks, this might have been an all-time indie album. The time it takes to find the diamonds in the rough is too much.
Rated 4/10
I heard this a bunch when it was new. It’s fine, but it just doesn’t really grab me. I think maybe it’s the singing style that doesn’t work for me.
Rated 4/10
Definitely not my favorite style of music. The band is competent, just not my thing.
Rated 6/10
Seems like everyone had a copy of this when it was new. Iconic singles that still sound great. The other tracks are up and down.
Rated 4/10
I like some of her earlier stuff, but nothing on this one really stood out. Her singing style gets tiresome over a full album.
Rated 4/10
The singles from this one were fun and ubiquitous when this album was new. The rest feels like uninspired filler.
Rated 8/10
I caught her live at a festival once. Absolutely stellar voice.
I had never heard of this band or album before, but I was pretty impressed. Early new wave synth pop, which is a genre I like.
Rated 4/10
Nothing grabbed me on this one. Pretty generic Brit pop from the era.
Rated 6/10
I had never heard of this band before I never wanted to turn it off, but I wasn’t ever grabbed by it either.
Rated 6/10
Not bad, but it isn't the classic that Transformer is. Bowie is missed.
