I wasn’t expecting to enjoy this as much as I did. Solid 70s groove all the way through.

It’s hard to overstate how this album dominated pop culture for a while in 1999. I thought then and now that there are a couple good tracks and a bunch of filler. Some of the lyrics haven’t aged so well.

I expected to like this one more, but all the fuzz and somewhat disappointing vocals were kind of a letdown.

I really enjoyed this when it was new. You still hear ‘Drive’ on the radio today. I saw them live right around when this was released - great live show.

This is offensive music done right. Every track is a total party banger. Go clutch your pearls somewhere else. Grab some gin and juice, crank this up in a residential area and have some juvenile fun for an hour.

I really enjoyed this one. Willie on the bass! If only modern country still sounded like this.

There’s a lot in interesting things happening here musically. Bjork is really talented, no doubt. Her singing style wears me out over the course of a whole album though.

I've listened to this one several times over the years. It always feels like I'm just listening to an OK musical soundtrack. It's completely over the top, which is fun, but Meat Loaf's voice isn't all that special and the songs all feel like lesser borrowed ideas from other greater artists. All of that averages out to about a 3 for my taste.

This one has aged really well. To my ear, maybe the best electronic album on this list and a super fun listen regardless of genre.

I enjoyed the first couple tracks, but it got weird after that. Too many odd covers (Greensleeves, really??) and too much Rod Stewart singing.

Pretty much every Bowie produced album on this list gets at least four stars from me, I’ve noticed. Same for this one.

Leading with a 20+ minute track is pretty bold. Maybe this was cool in the 90s. Not so much now.
