Certainly of its time. Interesting, but not captivating

Quality album, not my jam.

Haunting voice. Beautiful.

Latter half was better

Another miss for Roxy Music, but the last few tracks were better than the rest.
Wouldn't sell it out again, but wouldn't change the station if it was on the radio.

Hard to rate. Some interesting tracks but nothing really holding it together.

3.25 this one was a tough rating. Tina Turner was a bit before my time and I grew up. Certainly knowing who she was and hearing her music everywhere. However, when it comes to listening to it now and reviewing it, I just don't know where it lands. It's certainly well produced, but I don't think it ages well at all. Comes off somewhere between soft rock and I don't know, noise? It's just all the mid tones of the '80s without anything really jumping out. Maybe a different day would yield a better rating.

3.75 overall great, but there are some real stinkers in there early.

Orchestral pop is not for me. Their voice was good on the slower songs but anything louder and it was hitting quite the odd pitch to my ear.

Plenty of tracks on here. I had not heard and enjoyed.

3.5 not usually my jam, but well produced and amazing talent cannot be denied.
3.75 A lot more accessible than his notorious other album.

Keep coming back to it. Great discovery.
