The more I listen to the Rolling Stones the less I consider them to be a hard rock band

I'm usually always impressed by old school hip hop, but this was not doing it for me. There was nothing clever about the lyrics, every song sounded the same, and the production was very poor. I'm surprised they have as many fans as they do. I can't even name one song that I liked the best because they were all so mediocre.

Listening to the whole thing together it's pretty coherent but let's face it if I were to pull one song out and listen to it I'd be like "what is this shit"

It's very typical of 80s alternative music. It's very pop-y and even though it can be a little catchy at times, it's always at least a little cheesy. It's moody, but you can never fully enjoy it out of the fear that your music taste would get worse.

Ah, yes, a whole two songs that I know and feel indifferent about.
