LP1FKA twigs

Rated 8/10

I am not one that like autotuned voiced and all the syntheterisation on voices but all the glitches and breakbeats were really nice. I'm not that much driven to pop usually but this one is really nice.

Favorite Songs: Pendulum ; Numbers ; Give Up

DirtAlice in Chains

Rated 8/10

One of my favorite grunge album. It has this rawness and heavy sound that made it stand out from the others.

Favorite songs: Them Bones ; Sickman ; Junkhead ; Would?

PlayMoby

Rated 6/10

An inoffensive and unremarkable record. It's efficient but boring and long, way too long.

OK there are some foot stomping ambient dance songs but it never succeed in making you feel anything about the songs. And what's worst is that it gives the impression that it tries so hard to do it.

RisquéChic

Rated 6/10

Some songs were too long but as in everything disco the bass is nice.

Favorite Songs: Good Times

The girl from Ipanema is an absolute banger. But apart from that it's a short and smooth album demonstrating bossa nova. And after listening to Tortoise's TNT I remarked the influence they had on them.

Rounding up because it's the day that Lula won against Bolsonaro.

Favorite Songs: The Girl from Ipanema

So much heavy and funky beats, it's an absolute classic of the 90s that I discovered very late.

I named my cat Snoop because I found very funny to name a cat Snoop because of this guy. And because Snoop is a very cool name.

Probably 4.5 rounding up because I loved so much my cat.

Favorite Songs: G Funk Intro ; Gin and Juice ; Tha Shiznit ; Lodi Dodi ; Who Am I (What's My Name) ; For all My Niggaz & Bitches ; Ain't No Fun (If the Homies Can't Have None) ; Gz and Hustlas

EVOLSonic Youth

Rated 8/10

Though I really like Sonic Youth I never listened to this early album of them. It has already all the characteristics that make Sonic Youth the cult group that they are : a blend of noise and melody that works without being boring.

Favorite Songs: Tom Violence ; Green Light ; Expressway to Yr. Skull

I'm not a fan of Iggy Pop and I had to drag myself to listen to this album. How wrong was I? It's a great record, some tubes, variations. I realy liked it.

Favorite Songs: Lust For Life ; The Passenger

A nice funky album. Two big tubes and the other songs are also quite OK. A 3.5 rounding because why not?

Favorite Songs: You Are the Sunshine of My Life ; Superstition

A groovy album well worth a listen from someone I never heard of before. But it's not exceptional either. I might listen it again some day.
