Five star albums can be hard to come by, sure, but it's been a month since I had an album with two 5-star songs on it. Well, here comes Bob with at least four of them on one album. It's 1963 and the Great Folk Scare has officially arrived.

Yes, I've seen the movie. I'm also foggily familiar with Air's album Moon Safari.

I thought this was a little disappointing as a standalone album. The music is good, but the voiceovers from the movie don't add much to the experience.

I'm pretty neutral towards this type of music in general but where do I draw the line? If I were, say, waiting for my car to get an oil change, I think I'd rather have silence than hear this in the waiting area.

This is one of those albums that I avoided for a long time because of the hype. When I first heard it a few years ago I was glad to find that it was pretty good! The first two songs are the best on the album, followed by Diamonds on the Soles of Her Shoes. The rest of it ranged from fine to mildly enjoyable.

It's an okay album. Magic Hollow is clearly the best song, the rest is pretty forgettable. This is a case of right band wrong album, however— their only good album is Bradley’s Barn, by a country kilometer.

The Gift is a little tedious, but overall I have to give this album five stars. I just can't imagine a world in which this album doesn't exist and in particular, Sister Ray is an all-timer. I hope people will still be listening to this in a thousand years.

This one has been haunting me a little bit. It was generated for me 12 days ago, but I've had to listen to it three times. My first impression was that the album was more "interesting" than enjoyable, but I think it's growing on me. It's an album that reveals a little more of itself track by track and then also (full) listen by listen.

If I have a criticism at this point, I would say that I don't know if they quite earned the right to average 5 minutes per track. Most of these songs take a minute and a half to wind down when 40 seconds would have done it.

I never really liked Green Day and after hearing this, I still don't really like Green Day. I can't believe they made a Broadway musical based on this album. That must have been hell.

I'd say about half the album is great songs (led by Blue Suede Shoes) and the other half is more like filler, which is understandable for 1956.

As a fan of 60s folk-rock I'm well aware of how magical CSN's best stuff is, but unfortunately that knowledge has doomed me to forever pursue the various and sundry solo and duo projects of the three members (and sometimes Y). Much mediocrity has ensued.

I have to agree with some of the top reviews. The music is good, the guitar player is especially sharp, but the vocals really bring it down.
