Despite having some clear messaging and great hits, the album didn't quite flow together super well. I would still recommend it, but only to fans of old school rap.

I fucking love this album. I actually just listened to it last week. It's trippy and catchy and funky in all the right ways.

Santana was truly skilled. This album was heavily instrument focused. Great to put on in the background.

I was really surprised by this one. It's far off the beaten path of soul/funk. But it had these Motown style backup harmonies on a flashy style that just worked. Definitely a unique sound, not great background music though imo. There also wasn't a track that made me think "hit."

They packed in so much incel energy in just a few songs, lololol. Also, I was a little surprised that it was recorded in 1960, it feels much older in style than that. They're like the transition point from crooners to rock and roll.

This is one of my favorite albums. I would argue that it is THE thrash metal album. Many hits that are so iconic that they're still frequently used today. It's also a pretty complete album in terms of flow between tracks and distinct sound.

Wild Horses, Can't You Hear Me Knockin', and Dead Flowers all stand out on this album. I think the hits are definitely iconic. The album challenged its band's genre by some of the borrowed sounds from other genres like country and blues. All-in-all, it's a good listen and worth knowing.

Two of the songs from this album are absolute hits, Somebody to Love and White Rabbit. The album overall wasn't bad, but man do those two songs stand above the rest of it.

I did not know that Wilco was so country. In fact, I previously thought that they weren't country.

I discovered Dirty Projectors through the NPR Tiny Desk Concert series. They have a super unique sound, it doesn't always work, imo, but I thought it worked really well in Stillness is the Move.
