I don’t trust you if you don’t like this album. Just banger after banger. The four song run to start the album is just absurdly good. Yes the flows can be a little rudimentary and repetitive, but the lyrics are good so does it really matter?

Very much self made. There are some really interesting songs here. I liked it. Favorite songs were Little Hands, Weighted Down, War In Peace, and Broken Heart.

I’m sure sitting in my apartment is the wrong way to listen to this. And I’m sure music like this would be a lot better listening with others or in a live setting. I just didn’t really like it. Felt almost exhausting to listen to and the songs just kept going.

It’s a little stupid, but it’s fun. The songs are catchy and the performances are solid. Favorite songs were Malibu Beach Nightmare, Sailing Down The Tears, and Beating Gets Faster.

I found that listening to this while taking a hot shower was the ideal way to experience this. Stepped out onto the bath mat just as the organs hit in the final song. This one takes itself a little more seriously than Casanova while still maintaining some of the humorous lyrics on songs like If… The arrangements are really good and I can tell that he had fun making this. Favorite songs were Everybody Knows, If I Were You, and I’m All You Need.

I just think overall the vocals are the weakest part of this album. The indietronica styling is good, the bass is solid, and samples are engaging. Jamie xx solo material is more entertaining for me. Just kinda meh. Favorite song was Say Something Loving.

Absolute CEO of yapping right here. Best song on this entire album is just Werewolves of London, but not as good. Album would have been much better if half the runtime wasn’t just this bloke talking over the instrumentals.

Instantly had to run this one back. I didn’t “get” all of it. I do not care. I really liked this. The warmth of the instrumentals, the flow, the use of his voice as a texture within the composition. Some high quality noodling here. Favorites were Sea Song, A Last Straw, and Little Red Riding Hood Hit The Road (both of them)

I think I liked this more than Moss Side Story. The Nick Cave song was pretty good and it was at least interesting the whole way through. I just don’t think I will revisit it. Favorite songs were Something Wicked This Way Comes and The Sweetest Embrace.

Some fun hard rock/protopunk. Nothing spectacular here, but some of the basslines are really good. Favorites were Master Race Rock, California Sun, and Cars And Girls.

I thought this was really good. Interesting mix of typical grunge sounds with psychedelic elements. Solid melodies too. Favorite songs were All I Know, Dying Days, Witness, and Dime Western.

This one was pretty good. Solid industrial metal with cool noises. Lyrics are somewhat incomprehensible Favorite songs were NWO, Hero, and Jesus Built My Hotrod.

I have never gone into a record store without seeing a copy of this in the used section for less than 5 dollars. Shoutout Brazil! Very relaxing album. Not something I would normally put on I like a little more bite in my music, but fine for the background while I was working. Favorite songs were The Girl From Ipanema, Corcovado, O Grande Amor.

Is this the best album ever? No. Is this the best JT album? Also no. Is this album good? Yeah, I’d say so. Not sure why we have this here over FutureSex/LoveSounds. Production is good, the singles are catchy, great feature from Clipse. Favorite songs were Like I Love You, Cry Me A River, and Rock Your Body.

Not as good as John Barleycorn Must Die, but still an entertaining time. Favorite songs were Pearly Queen and Feelin’ Alright.

This is a fun time, but Raising Hell is better. A little simplistic but for early hip-hop it works. Kinda front-loaded too. Favorite songs were Hard Times, Rock Box, and It’s Like That.

I just adore this album. The beats are lush, Lupe’s verses are distinctive and well written, and the features expand the songs. Now did he have to read album credits on the Outro? Probably not, but I just love this album.

I think I wanted to like this more than I did. It’s fine, but not more than that for me. The Smoke On The Water riff still rips. Favorite songs were Highway Star, Smoke On The Water, and Space Truckin’.

Mariah’s voice is fantastic, but the songwriting here leaves something to be desired. Really says something when far and away the best song here is a Prince cover. I liked this. Favorite songs were The Roof, Breakdown, and The Beautiful Ones.

Not quite to the same tier of excellence that Be is. The production here is still great. Common does his poetry thing. Favorite songs were Cold Blooded, The Light, and Geto Heaven Part Two.
