Awful pop country. Who likes this crap?
Rated 4/10
Fairly boring pop country

What gorgeous stories. Country is not my thing, but this packs in so much emotion that I cannot deny the mastery.

My wife's favourite era of country music, so I am more familiar with this genre than I'd like to be. This is like all the other 90's female country hits. Sounds a lot like The Judd's, Kathy Mattea, Lee Ann Womack, Trisha Yearwood...the list goes on. This is the type of country they love to play at wedding receptions and on the radio. It is country steeped in pop. It isn't really my favourite genre of music, but I do understand why it is in the post-list. I hate country music, but it was horribly underrepresented on the original list. Robert Dimery was too busy listing off every Britpop and Shoegaze band to bother including anything that meant anything on this side of the pond.
Favorite songs: I Feel Lucky, He Thinks He'll Keep Her, Passionate Kisses
Least favorite songs: Rhythm of the Blues, Not Too Much to Ask

Mom country rock for sure.
Rated 5/10
Above-average piano-based country music. Really demands to be played in a car, imo
Rated 6/10
Old-school shiny floor Grand Ole Opry style country music. Pleasant enough, but more my dad's taste than mine
Rated 4/10
Think we had enough country pop on the initial list.
