I'm a Can fan but never heard this, cool stuff! Can see the influence on the Eno/Byrne record but this is more musically successful

4 tracks and hardly sany information about the album on wikipedia. Ok! Cool In The Pool is an extended funk vamp with various instruments coming in and out. Oh Lord, Give Us More Money is a journey, though I am not sure where to. Persian Love is super cool, but Hollywood Symphony is super out there to start. And stays out there. W/e I had a fun time with this one.

Garbage. Take Revolution 9 and make it an album. Take one of those Yamaha keyboards and randomly dick around on different settings hitting random keys for 40 minutes. Performance art in music form. This is no one’s favorite album.

I’m not sure what this is but I like it. 4/5 a little too avant garde 3/5

God bless Can and Can alums

This was very strange. Like really really out there weird. But there is something compelling in it, I didn't hate the thing. I'm not planning on listening to it anytime soon, but there is just something about it.

I love Holger, he was the secret sauce in Can; the engineer, the editor, the true experimenter. Here he's using samples in a way that was way ahead of its time. Before even Eno and Byrne made their acclaimed "My Life in the Bush of Ghosts" (81). You know Eno listened to this and took notes.

Very interesting and playful. I enjoy the backstory of the album and can really see it reflected in the sound. I'm not sure it's something I'd seek out often but it's a really unique vibe that I can definitely see myself returning to someday.
