Another oasis-alike, except sometimes featuring the most obnoxious vocal effects

Rated 8/10

I enjoyed this, more so than a lot of stuff on the list.

Rated 6/10

I liked this album more than their other album featured on the post list (Six).

Favourite songs: She Makes My Nose Bleed, Wide Open Space, The Chad Who Loved Me, "Take it Easy, Chicken", Taxloss, Egg Shaped Fred

Least favourite songs: Mansun's Only Love Song

Yikes. This was such a formative album for me, the first time I'd heard something genuinely weird and proggy, but operating within the boundaries of Britpop.

But it's not quite like I remember it. It's soaring and beautiful in places, but so utterly childish and bratty in others. It doesn't help that Paul Draper has been acting like such a dick in recent years.

I'd like to think "Six" is better, but I'm worried it'll have the same effect.

Blasphemous. DNF.

Kohtuullinen alt-rock levy. ei mitään ihmeellistä suuntaan tahikka toiseen.

Rated 6/10

More Britpop, yay. I will say that this one was slightly more tolerable than average with the added instrumentation and unique concept.

Soild Britpop album I hadn’t come across before enjoyed this. But I’d most likely go back to a more familiar manics or suede album over this.
