Amazing playing

"Mahavishnu", in the Hindu belief system, is the world-soul, that spiritual entity made up of all living things. The Force? I guess so. Yet another example of the West's dubious flirtation with Eastern religions, as the quest for Truth continues. Are we not all (or rather do we not want to be) vessels of divine purity and beauty as we float down the stream of time which we perceive as our own individual lives? Well, let's not over-ponder this thing. Bring some American swagger into it and dance!

No idea what this was about, but I loved it. The 70s really did produce some of the most wonderful things.

The drummer is out of this world

Awesome progressive Jazz album, feels way ahead of its time. Great instrmentation, fantastic momentum

Little too freak out jam bandy. I suppose the musicianship is off the charts, but definitely won't be returning to this one. 2/5

5 stars for guitar skronk and ring modulator on the keys, minus 1 star for violin = 4 stars.
