Ruke is more of the same as the last album, except Ruke, unlike the last album, feels less like a transitional album of trying to find a new artistic home, and more like a confident march into a familiar space.

The concept he's going for should feel familiar at this point: theatrical Mediterranean folk as a main driving force, with faint glimpses of the fading aura of industrialization and the ruins it left.

A lot of great songs here, done with love by a cast of experienced musicians, Darko Rundek continued to ride his wave of fame high as he did in the 80s.
