This is just OK really, obviously great guitar playing, but nothing much else of interest. If this is considered psychedelic rock, it's the absolute safest version possible. Also, there are like 3 versions if this album on Tidal, and they all have 20-30 songs on. Ain't nobody got time for that!

I didn't know what to expect since I had never listened to this album before. But I quite enjoyed it. I liked different types of guitar Jeff Beck brought to this album, psychadelic, blues, surf, and straight up 60s rock. Good stuff, I'll keep this one in rotation.

The albums plays like an out of focus image rough cut into a puzzle of poorly fitting pieces. There is something there, you're sure of it, but it's hard to make out and you can't tell whether the focus required to put it together is worth it or not.

Generally speaking, this sort of low-fi rock/punk/psychedelic thing would be right up my alley, so I'm a bit surprised to find that I can't quite settle into enjoying the album too much. I will probably come to appreciate what this album is, or the place it had in the context of musical history, but for the time being, it's just a bit too scattershot for me.

Ihan jees, mut ei mitenkään säväyttävää. tasapainottelen 2 ja 3 välillä, mut annetaan nyt 3.

Rated 2/10

Not for me. It was so unremarkable I hardly even remember anything meaningful about it.

Rated 6/10

Prefer the bluesy stuff on this but still some great tracks despite it being a bit patchy.

Holy panning, Batman. It's so strong on a lot of these 60s albums that it hurts my head. That aside, I dig the music a lot. I swapped to a mono version and it let me appreciate it much more.

I'm amused by the oddness and looseness of this album but not much more than that. Holy Shit! Wait a minute... did they invent the template for Black Sabbath in the first 1:10 of "Ever since the world began"?!?! Other than that, somewhere between the sound of The Who, Kinks, and Stones from the same period with a touch more psychedelia. Kind of liked listening to the mono version more than the stereo.
