Rated 8/10

Above average heavy metal, with some creative high-points. Keeps between the lines and doesn't drift into other lanes. Well-produced. Great to play while drag racing.

Rated 8/10

This is some real good old heavy rock. Only heard ace of spades off this before which is a total classic. This album and Motörhead clearly influenced a lot of thrash metal that would follow. Really good album did come close to full stars but some of the lyrics so just let it down from being a true masterpiece.

Rated 10/10

If Motörhead didn't exist, it would have been necessary to create them. Some huge Norwegian blacksmith hammering the band out of Marlboro reds, Jack Daniels, gunmetal, and heroin.

Rated 5/10

I played some guitar hero, but not that much; I imagine some Motörhead stuff had to have made it into that game, right? seems like the right genre. Any case, guitars fun, songs are sleazy in such a tryhard way it’s alternately charming and off-putting.

Also not relevant/bad taste or whatever, but Motörhead fans I’ve seen around on the internet are some of the most obnoxious fucking dweebs on the planet

Rated 4/10

Not a massive fan of the sound but I didn't think it was awful. 2/5

Rated 2/10

awful

Rated 4/10

The Ace Of Spades sets the tone and boy does this album never shift out of that gear. Jailbait is a rather unfortunate song. This album is peak 80s mysogeny, sex, drugs, and rock and roll. (We Are) The Road Crew is a nice send up for the tough life of a stage crew.

Rated 6/10

This break-neck sprint of an album is a striped down and pure cut rock gem! The sound of the group lives right at the intersection of punk and metal and there is absolutely no pretense about the fact that they came to party. Each track has an almost bootleg quality, which is a testament to the skill and sensibility of their producer.

On the whole the album is fairly uniform and a bit of a one-trick pony, but I happen to really like that one-trick, so it suits me fine.

vitu awesome

Rated 10/10

Brilliant.

Rated 8/10

This album rocks. Amazing guitar work and drumming. Nuff said. Pedo song brings it down a bit though.

Rated 8/10

This thing just goes hard non-stop for 36 minutes. the lyrics are maybe the weakest part by being either very corny, or problematic (jailbait). Everything else is killer, lemmy’s voice is one of a kind and this has some of the best guitar work I’ve heard in a long time

Rated 8/10

Excellent metal album got me pumped- some epic guitar solos although questionable (pedo) and bad lyrics on two particular songs

Rated 4/10

I liked Lemmy better when he was in Hawkwind.
