No idea how this made the top 1001. I can think of so many albums that are better than this.
Tracks 1-3 were confusing. I felt like I was waiting for something to happen. Very odd jazz with guitar solos.
I will score this a 2 though as I loved the cover of Mona, the album got better after track 6
Favourite song: Mona
Least favourite: All of them
Album artwork: Odd

Bold putting an extra long cover version of a full half of an album. I don’t think it’s the best cover of who do you love either. Overall this is a good jam/ psychedelic album, deserves to be on the list, but there are better examples of this music already in the book.

Some guys jamming, but it got a bit out of hand, and now it's on a record

This project's taught me that I don't like the wider world of 60s psych rock as much as I thought, so it's great to find something that sounds like what I actually had in mind. Y'know, jam music
Rated 6/10
The first half of this is an extended jam session on a single musical theme that is pleasant enough but only moderately held my attention. I’m sure it seemed epic to tripping hippies in 1969 who had not yet experienced the great prog epics to come. The rest is also pretty noodley and unmemorable. The guitar and bass tones are great though.
Rated 8/10
This is an interesting and eclectic album. It's kind of straight ahead experimental 60s rock, a harbinger of the progressive rock movement, a contemporary "jam band," and so much more. This is a terrific album in its genre and Calvary is one of the greatest guitar songs I have ever heard.
Rated 8/10
This was far better than expected, as while I knew guitar noodling was a major part of this, I actually didn't find it to be too aimless that often. In fact, I'm super impressed this is a live album, as you could hardly tell with the thought put into some of what they did, and the theming on the first half of the album is cool. It does get a bit boring at times, especially when they decide to do more ambient noise stuff that goes on for seemingly days, and I'm not a huge fan of the singer's voice, but I still enjoyed this enough to get it up to that positive rating.
Rated 10/10
I'd never heard of them until now, but having listened to the album everything suddenly makes sense. A definite missing link in psych-rock, and they seem pretty influential too.

Jam sandwich.

Average hippie bullshit

Very odd - in a good way! Extended jazz-like improv, recorded live (mostly), but note perfect (as far as it can be for songs largely made up on the spot!).
Not one I immediately loved, but there is plenty there for repeated listening. The kind of album that is the reason for me doing this project - I'd never have heard it any other way.

Alkupuolen Who Do You Love Suite on suorastaan jazzahtavaa klassikkorockia! Sen perusteella annetaan 4/5, ei ne muutkaan biisit huonoja olleet.

Love me some psych rock and extended jams are my jam so this was right up my alley. The side B tracks are great too.
Rated 2/10
I spent most of this album hoping for it to end
