Better than I anticipated...had been a huge fan of Moz's solo work. Very political. 3/5

Sometimes, you want intricate layered metaphor, and other times you want Morrissey. He hits you over the head with unveiled distaste. As always the voice and the instrumentation are immaculate.

Shite.
Shite singer, shite songs, shite production, shite lyrics.
The guy sings like he has been kicked in the plums, but I don't think we are that lucky. Would give it zero, or even less than that if I could.
Absolutely pish.
He can't sing, and is a Nazi, and isn't a good lyricist, and is a Nazi, and writes terrible music, and is a Nazi, and really puts the "pretentious" in "pretentious wanker", and also, and I can't stress this enough, is a Nazi.

I find this album to be a pretty mixed bag, as often it feel as though it thinks its doing something fantastical and breathtaking, and it really isn't, while other times it really is something special. That isn't even only the hits that get that reaction either, as some of the deeper cuts here are great, as well as the big tracks. However, truly puzzling is parts that Morrissey seems to think he can get away with, such as lesbian slurs, and poor "critiques" of the U.S. that make this album hard to care for at points. I think this album has a decent amount of potential, but at the end of the day, unlike many Morrissey releases, this doesn't feel special enough to listen to despite the singer's more than idiotic beliefs. If this is your only encounter with solo Morrissey so far, I would understand sticking with The Smiths, even if tracks like First of the Gang to Die are fantastic.

There is no need for this self centered, egotistical fuck to have at least 3 albums on this list ffs. This depressed, bleeding heart douche is so busy telling everyone how great he is and how he's better than everyone else... It's sickening. To quote Come Back to Camden:
"and I remember that I am alone
Alone
For evermore"
... I wonder why, you insufferable douche canoe.
Favourite songs: The First of the Gang to Die, The World is Full of Crashing Bores
Least favourite songs: America Is Not the World (go eat a hamburger and calm the fuck down you pretentious ass hat.... Morrissey is not the world either I'm sad to tell ya), "Irish Blood, English Heart" (oooh, tough guy Morrissey can't be bought.... Fuck off), I Have Forgiven Jesus (he's also apparently better than religion), I'm Not Sorry, How Can Anybody Possibly Know How I Feel? (no one cares), All the Lazy Dykes
Thank fuck that's over...

I preferred Viva Hate to this one. Irish Body, English Heart is really good. Album also ends well.
Rated 4/10
...had to be there, I guess. Think there's only one more of this guy on the list, but he's had frankly too many opportunities on this thing to win me over for how boring each of these has been.
I might need somebody to explain patiently to me what the appeal is here, because everything I've osmosed just seems to point at inside baseball stuff around the particular scene he's involved in?
Rated 8/10
Morrisey tekee kyllä varsin hyviä levyjä, tykkäsin tästäkin. Teksteissä onnistuu koskettamaan tietynlaista melankoliaa hienosti. 4/5

I Cannot Fucking Wait Til Morrissey Dies
Rated 4/10
Tired of Morrisey at this point in his career. Tired of "comeback" albums on this list as well. This doesn't resonate for me emotionally. I feel like his lyrics have become less refined and more clumsy on this. Production is too clean and verging into corny territory at times. It's also got one of the lamest album covers I've ever seen.
Rated 8/10
America is not the World, I'm not sorry, I like You, ...
