Erfrischendes Techno-Trance Album mit guten Sounds , die aber alle ein wenig zu oberflächlich klingen. Nett zu hören.
Rated 6/10
I'd started listening to this with headphones, found myself getting irritated, so switched to a speaker, much better listening experience. Still not really something for a typical Wednesday morning, would be better in a late night setting.
Rated 8/10
Reminds me a lot of Kraftwerk. And I really like Kraftwerk.
Rated 4/10
Fine but can't justify the length
Rated 8/10
Probably the best techno/electronica album I've had on this generator. I mean.... It's still techno.... But it would be good background music to work to, which is what I did today.
Favourite songs: Air Towel, Juanita/Kiteless/To Dream of Love, Confusion the Waitress, Pearl's Girl
Least favourite songs: Stagger

I wasn't expecting too much from Second Toughest In The Infants because i didn't remember it being too great but man, this album surpassed my expectations and then some. Every song here just manages to feel like the best kinds of electronic music with enough energy to be easy dance club bangers and enough ambiance to feel like you're in a whole new world. The guitars weren't there often but when they were there, they were just so unbelievably well done. It may be a 71 minute long album which may put some people off but in my ears, they made sure to make every second pure bliss.
Best Song: Banstyle / Sappys Curry
Worst Song: Confusion The Waitress

Fun

I don't know what y'all are talking about because this album slaps. From the opening track and especially in 'Pearl's Girl' I was lovin the 90s club vibes. It wasn't just generic techno club music. It was actual creative Electronica. And one version of this album even has 'Born Slippy', which kinda makes up for everything.
Rated 6/10
Fairly run of the mill electronica. Not bad for the gym though.
Rated 8/10
Perhaps their best....

The Good: Nice album art
The Bad: It’s Techno…
The Ugly: TLDL
Seriously, I have to sit through 75 minutes of bim-bam-bim-bam repeat if necessary?
I like a nice short techno tune like the next person, but an entire album, which might as well be called a double album, with tunes lasting 15 damn minutes…
I have encountered my second Waterloo on this list.

It's fine techno, if that's what you're looking for. I may listen to this again if I'm in the right mood.
Rated 8/10
Overlong but there's a bunch of great stuff here, doesn't sound as dated as many of their peers
Rated 4/10
It's largely not to my liking, but there are a few elements that really catch my ear. Track 2 in particular - "Banstyle / Sappys Curry" - is pretty interesting. But my god, is it long and repetitive. It may even be closer to 1 star than 2, but I can't in good conscience give this the same score on this website as Limp Bizkit.

Maybe this would be great if I was high. 1.375.

not big on electronic but this is decent

One of the last commentators wrote, does anyone like techno? Well, me for example. I'm glad to have been at one of the last Love Parades. But this album is not techno. It's far too slow for that. Yes, it's not even trance. It's electronic music. A bit psychedelic. It sounds like Chemical Brothers, sometimes like The Prodigy, then again like Trent Reznor. I liked it. The album won't be one of my top favorites either. But I will certainly listen to it again.

It's alright. It's quite nice and chill and lo-fi.

I figured this album had a chance to be something a bit more special when I noticed the use of whisper-y, trip-hop-esque vocals mixed with something obviously influenced by the Britpop wave of vocal inflections. However, with the tracks being so long and hardly doing enough to earn that length, it lost my interest quick, and turning into your generic, PlayStation 1 era racing game music about halfway through rubs yet even more salt into the wound. I think there is something here that could be good, especially with more vocals to make actual songs rather than just sleepy rave tracks could benefit this album a lot, but as it is, you can just throw it in with the dozens of other generic UK downtempo techno records.
