Flows so well from song to sing, especially in the first half

Second Senegalese album of the week! Preferred Djam Leeli to be honest but this is still an enjoyable album

The best kind of boomer rock. The solo on free bird is one of the rare bits of guitar wankery that actually is incredibly cool

This was great, loving the African music on this list and this was just such a blast to listen to.

Putting this up to a 5 because its one I keep going back to again and again. This album shouldn't work half as well as it does. Its all over the place, often quite silly, but it all comes together amazingly

Hated the bass soooo much. Read about it afterwards and find out he died tragically young so I feel kind of bad but it ruined the album for me, the other two were playing decent enough and he was just stomping across it like somebody had let a toddler loose with an instrument. Apparently its really good though so shows what I know

Really cool album, Lauper as such a unique voice. Does tail off a bit in the second half

Not bad but really didn't do it for me as much as Armed Forces

I'm definitely a morning glory preferer, but this one's still great, only a few songs I dont enjoy quite as much

Another one where I'd heard it before but relistening through this project has let me appreciate it a lot more. I even enjoyed the more low key songs that some people here seem to dislike, although I did think the ending to moonchild let the whole album down quite a bit

One I'd been meaning to listen to for ages. Knew more of the songs on here than I was expecting to

Not the worst thing I've heard and I quite enjoyed the weirdness for a bit but it just didn't work for me over the course of a whole album

If I was in the 50's this is what I'd want to be listening to

Not quite as good as EKTIN but another great album. why did Young do so many solo albums if his work with Crazy Horse could be this good
After a second listen I think I like it even more than EKTIN and am bumping to 5

Have a feeling these guys enjoy anime :/

Did tend to blend together a bit, apart from the first couple of tracks which were more unique, I've never been huge on albums where the vocals are so low that you can't make out the lyrics at all. Still, there was definitely enough good stuff here to make me quite curious to hear Loveless
