Wow so first off, I didn't realise k d lang wasn't a man??

Beautiful voice! If the end of the album hadn't wondered off a bit and kept my attention more, it would have been a 5

I've heard a lot of hype about Kacey and this album in particular. So I was excited to get into this

Oh my god it was horrendous. Her voice grated on me so badly. The lyrics were terrible and cringy. And at parts she sounded like an AI bot. This is what people have been hyping up??

The musical equivalent to spending a day walking around home bargains to be honest. No offence to the woman I'm sure she's lovely, but oh my god never again please

I remember this album well. The xx were huge in the tumblr scene but I never got the hype

I enjoyed the singles though, they save this from a 2. But overall pretty boring

Feeling slightly attacked by the top comment for this album lmao. I did actually listen to this in my VW Golf while drinking a caramel machiatto... but I was not wearing lycra and I didn't have bikes on a roof rack

I do agree it was catchy in parts, but on the whole this was the equivalent to a plate of unseasoned chicken and rice

Also the singer gives me major creeps and I've never liked them. Wanted to give this album a chance but the lyrics about putting fingers in and monthly blood was the final straw

But this way too long and repetitive. Her voice grated on me a bit and also some of the lyrics (I dont want to hear about your period thanks)

Terrible vocals aside - the music itself was utter shite! Not only do we get screeching and wailing, but in this album we get bonus donkey noises! And at one point she went full on Dick Van Dyke in Mary Poppins

Not what I was expecting at all. The only song of theirs I knew previously was Ooh La La - so this was the polar opposite of what I was expecting

What the hell happened in the middle of this album?? Quite a few songs were decent - some I enjoyed more than others. Then there were some truly terrible ones slotted in

I used to listen to KISS in the car with my dad growing up. All I remember is loving their stuff

Well turns out quite a bit of it is cringy, but they do have some bangers in there!

An alright album on the whole. It had its moments of weirdness and I feel they let the rest of the songs down

Like why did he start the opening track with guitars screeching?! Unpleasant and ruined the song. The good songs though were very catchy!

I relistened to A Night At The Opera before this album and played both back to back. I think I prefer this one ever so slightly
