The soundtrack to purgatory

Stevie Wonder has an amazing voice and I really like his popular songs. I really wanted to love this album

This album had quite a few incredible songs on it, but a lot of filler too!

Sir Duke, I Wish, Isn't She Lovely, As, Ebony Eyes - all 5 stars chefs kiss

But the album was so long and some of the songs went on for like 8 minutes. It brought my enjoyment level right down 😪

Stevie in small doses next time please

Not usually a fan of these 80s albums, but I found this one quite catchy

Nothing amazing or groundbreaking here - but it was a pleasant sounding album that I surprisingly enjoyed

Bit of an odd one

Starting with the positives - this is one of the better rap albums I've listened to so far on here. I liked the beats, some of the songs I genuinely really enjoyed!

Now for the bad - this has aged terribly. It was too long for my liking and I wasn't a fan of the talking or the random phone ringing noises

What I didn't like was some songs just ended abruptly? Almost as if songs were jumping tracks

Overall enjoyable, I really like his voice

Bit of a weird one

I knew quite a lot of these songs. The covers weren't great though and felt a bit random thrown in here?

First off, I never knew Queen Latifah was a rapper. To me she will always be Motormouth Maybelle in Hairspray. Iconic

This however was not it. It started off quite good, but it got so repetitive. How many songs do you need where you tell us you're the q-u-e-e-n? Very dated songs that didnt age well. Also she completely threw me off when she pulled out the Jamaican accent and started rapping about rastas

I was really into this as soon as I heard the opening guitar riff!

Megadeth - a band I've heard so much about but couldn't name you a single song. They were good!! 🔥

It did all start to sound similar towards the end. But that's ok if you enjoy this sort of music and some badass guitar

This album!!!! 😭❤️

We had this album at home and I overplayed it to death. Every single song is so good!

You've got the underrated songs like Politik and Green Eyes, and 4 big singles. The Scientist is 5 star worthy itself

Clocks was one of the first songs I learnt to play on piano, and one of the songs that inspired me to take lessons. This album just takes me back to a very specific time in my life. Hits me right in the feels

I feel like people pre judge Coldplay based off what they hear on the radio - but I think this is their best album

I was on the fence with this one

Parts of the songs were so so good. Mr Blue Sky 10/10 🔥 Other parts were either too weird, or boring. This album was also really long. It was just a bit all over the place

I appreciate the music and talent, but I don't think its my cup of tea

Finally a band from my neck of the woods

I've heard so much about them, but honestly couldn't name you one song of theirs. I did end up recognising a few by the end of this album

I quite enjoyed it! But they're more of a band I'd happily watch at a festival, but wouldn't pay for their tour

What a voice! 🔥

I only knew 2 Janis Joplin songs before going into this. Ended up recognising a 3rd thanks to a highly annoying perfume advert. That does not do her justice because this album was amazing!

Such a talent, died way too young. Reminds me of Amy Winehouse - unique voices and I think both would have gone on to incredible things

This is in my top 3 albums on here so far. Loved it

I'd never heard of Elliott Smith. I liked a few of the songs, he had a really nice voice. But this album was so bland. Everything blended into 1 long song

Imagine waking up in the morning, excited to see what your daily album is. Only to find its another fucking Tom Waits album

I've already suffered through 2 of his other albums - both a 1 star. I hate to say it but this album was slightly more bearable. The songs were ok! But his VOICE!!! Dreadful

For that reason its getting a 2. But I will never be a Tom Waits fan

Girls & Boys - What a song!! 🔥 A++

I knew I'd probably enjoy this album based off the Blur songs I know. I only knew two from this album - Girls & Boys and of course Parklife

On the whole I enjoyed this album. But some of the songs didn't have the same energy as the rest, just fell a bit flat? Album filler

A few of these songs will be stuck in my head all night now. Mega catchy
