I love mixing African music and western rock. This one is poppier than most of the stuff I listen to but it's super catchy.

Iconic and timeless.
I’m not into Christmas music but I’ll make an exception for this.
Rated 10/10
Super deserved. This album is not only impressive for an emo album but also really expands upon the genre in unique ways.
Rated 6/10
Such a wild mix of styles. It's like country trip-hop? Crazy. I'm not sure it's something I'd come back to often but I definitely enjoy it.
Rated 10/10
This album fully deserves a spot on the real list. It's both hugely influential on the entire genre of emo and it simply rocks. Zero filler.
Rated 10/10
It's simply peak.
Rated 8/10
Pretty solid. I enjoy hearing stuff like this in a style I listen to a good amount but in a foreign language with some unique elements from that culture.
Rated 10/10
Ska is such an overhated genre. This album is on the punkier side of the genre and it's pretty dope. Shame they never had a chance to do more with all this talent but this album alone makes them legends.
Rated 8/10
I love King Crimson so I'm surprised I've never listened to this actually. It's very good. You can definitely hear the similarities to Court, although it's mostly a bit lighter and more upbeat which honestly is a nice contrast.
Rated 2/10
Sea shanties are just goofy I'm sorry. It just kinda makes me cringe.
Rated 8/10
Pretty sick. I dig that they actually commit to anarchism pretty hard. It's legitimately punk.
Rated 4/10
Nothing remarkable but solid enough 70s blues rock. It didn't really stick out to me much.
I remember really hating this when it came out. Listening again, I don't feel as strongly but it's still a pretty weak album in Sufjan's discography. I just don't dig Angelo De Augustine I think.
Rated 2/10
Totally unremarkable in every way. It's not offensive it just sounds like every other British indie rock band ever.
Rated 2/10
I find his voice kind of grating, especially that warbling thing he does. The instrumentals are fine if a bit saccharine.
Rated 4/10
Not my thing at ALL but I didn't find myself actively hating it as much as I expected.
Rated 6/10
Fun instrumental trip hop. The use of vocal samples is really well done. This would make great studying music.
Rated 6/10
I dig the hazy electronic instrumentals. His rapping is a bit monotonous. Lyrically it's solid, aside from way too many references to god.
Rated 8/10
Pretty dope Spanish punk. This is the kind of thing I like finding through this list because I probably wouldn't have heard it otherwise.
