Turns out my least favorite thing about modern pop is inane lyrics, so when they're in Spanish I love it!

What an awesome album, so diverse. Feels like REM but more approachable

Didn't care for the voice, and it felt a little too lowest common denominator, especially in the choruses, but the verses were lyrical and specific enough and the sounds diverse enough to make it a nice album

The dark palace track felt out of place, but the rest of the album was atmospherically awesome

Didn't care for the vocals, too middle of the road between strong and pretty. Could really have benefitted from some instrumental variety, the guitar drums and bass always sounded the same. Strong start and finish though

The Best of the Talking Heads in a fantastic live performance. Was the recording the best? No. But the music was.

The cancer ballad was the only weak point in an otherwise pitch perfect production

It was good but too long. By the end I couldn't tell one song from the next. It's hard for punk to get boring, but it definitely wasn't holding interest.
