Oh god, Wuthering Heights. The album is not bad, but I couldn’t stop thinking about the shit that was this movie. And to feel inspired by the script is definitely a choice.

I’m sure this album is lyrically interesting, but I couldn’t understand shit with the constant whispering.
Maybe I’m a pop hater after all.

Sounds like an full album remix, not in a good way.

The best St Vincent album is always the next.
Hideous cover, but finally hip-hop with some statement and without women moaning

I LOVE THIS WOMAN.

My type of music, but not 1001 material. Sorry.

I think I am in a Slipknot moment.

Yeah, no. Not hearing this, sorry
I'm almost at the end of this list and this feels like the 10th Elvis Costello album in here. My conclusion? I don't get it.

It just goes all over the place and nowhere at the same time.
Rated 8/10
Maybe not a 1001 material, but I like it

"Cos you tell me that Jesus, he hates fruit loops, son, we told you that when you were young"
I'm biased because I loved John Grant and this album many years ago, but DAMN, HIS LYRICS ARE SO GOOD.
Masterpiece.

Portuguese is such a beautiful language... It feels too weird to hear some great songs in english instead of portuguese. Maybe English people also feel weird hearing their songs when we sing in portuguese.

Yeah, I'm not in my Bob Dylan era. I heard this album before, I liked it before, but now it's just... meh.
Yes, I was grumpy and frustrated when I heard this, but DAMN Bob Dylan is so annoying live. It felt endless, and I heard it through two days!
Rated 10/10
Really fucking good. But yeah, not much changed since then...
Rated 6/10
Not much more than Hotel California, I guess.

Another King Crimson album, another instant love from me.

So much more than Around the World... For me, at least.
