Ugh. More Morrissey? There should be LESSissey on this list of albums.
Once again, I'm giving a Morrissey album 1 star, and it's 1 star too many.

I'm finding myself more familiar with the singles from this album than I thought I was. Though I've never listened to this entire album start-to-finish before.
I'm not enjoying Bono's work on this either lyrically or vocally. I am enjoying The Edge's playing on this. But overall, this album isn't that great, mostly meh.
Rated 6/10
I used to listen to this album quite a bit, but eventually got tired of it. This is my first time listening to it start-to-finish in more than 25 years.
...And now I'm remembering why I got tired of this album: Anthony Kiedis. Otherwise, Flea, John, and Chad are really solid on this album.
The other day, I was just thinking about the conflict over this album and Mr. Bungle's "California" ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/California_(Mr._Bungle_album)#Red_Hot_Chili_Peppers_conflict ). I feel Mr. Bungle's album is the better one and has had more staying power for me.

This is my first time listening to an album by The Fall.
I'm not really enjoying this. Or maybe I should say: "I'm not really enjoying this-uh." Why is the vocalist like this? Make it stop.
I've never listened to Youssou N'Dour before. I quite enjoyed this and I might add it to my list of albums to listen to again.
Rated 8/10
I'm familiar with this album, though I don't listen to it enough. It's quite good.
Rated 6/10
This is my first time listening to a Kinks album start-to-finish.
The one track I'm quite aware of is "Sunny Afternoon." It's one of those fun and quirky tunes from this era. Other than that, this was a fun listen, and I'm glad this site made me listen to it, but it's merely good, not great.
Rated 6/10
I don't think I recognize this artist, so this is entirely new to me.
I neither hated this nor loved it. It was interesting to be introduced to this artist, and I supposed I'm glad I listened to this. But ultimately, it just didn't do much for me.
Rated 8/10
This is my first time listening to a solo Ghostface Killah album start to finish.
When it comes to hip-hop, I'm the sort of listener who focuses more on the beats than the lyrics. And the beats on this album are quite satisfying.
Rated 8/10
This is my first time listening to this album start-to-finish though many of the individual tracks are familiar.
I'm not a huge fan of reggae in general, but this such a collection of classics that it's almost a greatest hits album, and as such it's hard not to like.
Rated 4/10
This is my first time listening to this Belle and Sebastian album. My only prior experience with the group was listening to "If You're Feeling Sinister." And I only listened to that because of this site.
As with "If You're Feeling Sinister," this just isn't doing anything for me. The music is kind of boring, and the singer also sounds bored of the music.
Rated 4/10
This is my first time listening to an album by The Cult start-to-finish.
Right from the start, this just feels generic, but not good enough to be considered classic or iconic. And there's just something off-putting about Ian Astbury's vocals. It sounds like he's just always flat of the note he should be hitting. And "Born to be Wild" was just a bad idea. _Someone_ should have stopped them.
Rated 6/10
This is the first time I'm listening to this Beck album start-to-finish. I'm more familiar with some of his other albums.
In the track "Missing," I thought that it was Chris Cornell doing a guest vocal. Gotta hand it to Beck for doing a pretty solid impersonation there. Ultimately, I don't dislike this, but I prefer Odelay.
Rated 2/10
This is the first time I'm listening to a Leonard Cohen album start-to-finish.
I'm not feeling this. The production quality sounds really cheap. I felt like this album was putting me to sleep, and not in a good way.
Rated 6/10
I think I might recognize the song "There Goes the Fear" by the title alone, but otherwise, I don't think I know this artist at all.
This is neither great nor terrible. I can definitely tolerate it, but I don't feel compelled to listen to it again. The few songs where Jimi Goodwin is not singing lead make it apparent why he _is_ the lead singer.
Rated 6/10
I've never listened to a Genesis album start-to-finish before.
It's not that I hate prog. It's just that sometimes it just feels empty. And that's what I'm getting here. There are times where the instrumentation and musicianship is great, but it just doesn't add up to something that seems meaningful. This isn't bad, and I am glad I listened, but I'm not into it.
Rated 6/10
I don't think I've ever listened to a Supergrass album start-to-finish before.
I recognize a few of these songs by title. I don't know... This mostly just isn't doing it for me. Two tracks I did quite enjoy: "Lenny" and "Time"
Rated 6/10
This is my first time listening to a Tom Tom Club album start-to-finish.
There's a couple hits on here I'm aware of. In the end, I've always felt like Tom Tom Club is an inferior offshoot of Talking Heads, and I just generally prefer Talking Heads to Tom Tom Club. This isn't bad, but it just isn't compelling to listen to in the same way that Talking Heads is.
Rated 8/10
I'm very familiar with this album.
If the entire album was as good as the first half, this would be an absolute high-water mark for albums. But the second half of the album just doesn't have the same quality. If it were two separate albums, it would be a 5 for the first half and a 4 or 3 for the second half.
Rated 8/10
This is my first time listening to this album start-to-finish, though I'm quite familiar with quite a few of these songs.
It's a pretty solid album, and I'm glad I listened to it. I'm not sure I'll add it to my list of albums to listen to again, as the unfamiliar tracks weren't compelling enough.
