I feel this era of music is one of the weakest, and this album does nothing but back that up. Should be right in my wheelhouse yet I find it surprisingly lacking. 3/5

Man...I had a hard time with this one. Just not my cup of tea. 1.5/5

Just classic (boring) delta blues. Not my cup of tea at all. 2/5

Really overrated offering from one of the more overrated contributors out there. Not a lot redeeming about this one. 2/5

Much better than I anticipated. I think later Ozzy probably colored a more negative opinion than would be deserved. 3/5

Such a weird album...especially for the time. Not really a fan however. 1.5/5

Not a huge Indie Sleeze fan...this fits right in there. Some highlights, but not enough to offset the mundanity. 2.5/5

Feel like Echo and the Bunnymen are a little slept on. Definitely a strong Joy Division sound...which is fascinating given how contemporary they were to one another. 3.5/5

Better than I remembered it being. 3/5

Not a big Adele person...I suppose it is ok for what it is. 2/5

Ok as background music. Some of it was a bit much. 2/5

Isley Bros are pretty solid. That Lady is such an amazing song, and I rather enjoyed the rest of the album. 4/5

Fine. 2.5/5

Quite possibly the worst album I have listened to on the list so far. Grating. -1/5

Early Stones aint the best Stones. 2/5

Classic album. While I am a bigger fan of Selected Works II, this one is still a great listen from time to time. 4.5/5

Such a strange album. Never would have imagined such a blend of psychadelic and latin. 2/5

Better than anticipated. Madonna is a huge talent. Hard to not like her music if you have any appreciation for 80s pop. Cherish is by far my fav. 3.5/5

Great album. Better than the last JMC album we listened to. I think I have been sleeping on them a bit in my regular listening...will have to come back. 4.5/5

Solid...in general I love shoegaze. Not sure this really fits my idea as a pillar of the genre though. 3.5/5
