Love the B52s sound. So different for the time...especially coming out of Athens Georgia. Just fun songs all around. 4/5

Not a huge fan of this sound. First time I have listened to Leonard Cohen in earnest. It is interesting but nothing I would choose to listen to again. 2/5

Fun album. Part of a great run in the 70s. 70s Stones s by far my favorite Stones.

Really love the early synthesizer sound. Europe Endless is my fav. Great background music (which I guess is what ambient type music tries to be). Rating gets docked for lacked of diversity...too much of the album is just a riff on the TEE staple. 4/5

Solid album. Appreciate that it is the first to feature nothing but original compositions. The highs are super high, but I don't think it has cover to cover playability the same as later albums. 4/5

Decent album. I like the hits songs fairly well...Scar Tissue is a top 3 RHCPs song IMO. Feel like some of the album serves as filler. 3/5

Has some interesting parts...I enjoy the more rockabilly side of things. I didn't remember X having that type of sound. Overall the early 80s punk sound isn't my favorite...prefer more post punk. 2.5/5

Really enjoying the sound for a collective I had never heard of. Will have to listen to the rest of the catalogue. The sound of someone you love... is a highlight. 4/5

Great album by one of my favorite bands. Although probably my least favorite out of the first 4 albums, it is still one of my favorite albums period. Love the country sound and the steel guitar elements. 5/5

Not my usual cup of team but I enjoyed a few songs. I can understand why this was so critically acclaimed at the time and I certainly appreciated it more this listen than when I have previously. 3.5/5

Great debut. Take it Easy is an awesome song to lead off an album. Love the country rock sound, but I don't think the full album is a strong as some of their later efforts. 4/5

Really not that impressed. 2 decent songs...the rest is just kind of uninspired.

First time hearing of this band...enjoying the sound. Serious Television vibes. Seems like they would also have influence on future BritPop (Pulp esp.). 4/5
