Liking Peter Gabriel's music wasn't something I was expecting to happen to me but I'm not complaining. I don't think I like it as much as so but it's still pretty damn good

Literally nothing is worse than the thought that I currently have 3 more of his albums to listen to for this project. And one more The Smiths album
Rated 10/10
Genuinely really fucking excellent. What feels like my first five for this project in a while.
Rated 5/10
Was enjoying the first 2 minutes and was then let down when Bono started singing. I still haven't found what I'm looking for and with or without you carry this to a 3
I am already predisposed to like this album. Fairytale of New York has been my favourite Christmas song since I was 5 years old. My parents will admit it's a weird song for a 5 year old to like but I couldn't get enough of it.

God do I love the piano, I need to start practicing it again

On one hand I'm impressed that someone who really can't sing has released this many albums and is featured on the many 1001 album lists over the years. On the other hand, the same thing can be said about Bob Dylan......

3 out of 5 of these done, and I am slowly loosing the will to live. On one hand I'm sorry to everyone who likes them, whether that's because I feel bad for not liking them our for their taste in music, but I'm just never going to like them.
Will be interesting who's more if a slog to get through, Led Zeppelin or the Morissey solo albums.
Rated 3/10
I am so fucking glad this is the last arcade fire album in the project, I can't make myself listen to one more after this.
Rated 8/10
This was pretty enjoyable, but I tend to like most lilith fair artists.
What I could do without is the casual sexism from the average reviewer on the platform. I've already got the impression that a decent chunk of people on the site are middle age men or closely approaching middle age, but come on guys try and listen to something written or sung by a woman I promise it's worth it

It's ok at its best and shit at its worst. Also slightly haunted by that version of the song that's used in the LV adverts.
Also their ability to make 2 minute songs feel like they last an hour needs to be studied.
Rated 10/10
I loved this album, but I'm not really surprised about that. The title track, El Condor Pasa (If I Could) and The Boxer are probably my favourites.
That being said, I need these two broads to make up so I can see them together in concert before one of them kicks the bucket. Will I be able to afford the tickets if this happens, probably not, but at least give me the chance.

I'm tired of this grandpa!
There's a certain amount of The Smiths I can deal with, and I've reached my limit today
Rated 8/10
This was really nice, what I expect from R.E.M.
Rated 5/10
Slightly disappointing, considering how some people go on about this album. I liked Perfect Day and that's about it.
I will admit that it's a definite improvement over The Velvet Underground and Nico album I had to listen to for this project.
Rated 5/10
The only reason this is getting a 3 instead of a 2 is that I'm blinded by the fact that they're Scottish, this will probably be as patriotic as I get this year.
Rated 10/10
Have already listened to this album before, and it's part of my CD collection. Would like to thank my Dad for introducing me to great music at a young age. Will use this as an excuse to listen to it again but I already know its a 5
Rated 8/10
Found out this album came out on my birthday, well 24 years before it, so that's cool.
Overall a pretty solid album, exactly what I expect from AC/DC

Yeah, I don't care for music made by a Nazi.
