Ball and Biscuit is a super sludgy, bluesy number. I didn't think anything could topple Seven Nation Army from the top spot of my favourite song on the record, but this song is fantastic.

Favourite songs: Ball and Biscuit, Seven Nation Army, The Hardest Button to Button, Black Math, I Just Don't Know What To Do With Myself, You've Got Her In Your Pocket, "Girl, You Have No Faith in Medicine", Hypnotise

Least favourite songs: Little Acorns, "In The Cold, Cold Night"

The Lemonheads sound like a lot of other alt rock/power pop groups from the 90's such as the Gin Blossoms or Spin Doctors. Hannah & Gabi sounds like country/alt rock similar to Hootie and the Blowfish. Their version of Mrs. Robinson is pretty good, and became hugely popular after its use in American Pie 2 and Wolf of Wall Street.

This music isn't necessarily bad, there was just so much of it at the time, and I find it hard to differentiate one band from another within the genre. This is a perfectly average album. Nothing really jumps off of the record at you, but it isn't something I was rushing to turn off either.

Favourite songs: It's a Shame About Ray, Mrs. Robinson, Hannah & Gabi, Rockin' Stroll, Allison's Starting to Happen

Least favourite songs: Frank Mills, Rudderless

I absolutely love the Pogues. Shane MacGowan's voice is so gruff and unpolished. It almost gives the feel of some drunkard sitting in the street and singing these songs. I love the blend of Celtic music and punk music that these guys so seemlessly blended together.

The Band Played Waltzing Matilda is such a beautiful and heart wrenching song about war, loss, and the real suffering that some Australian soldiers went through. Very poignant this close to Remembrance Day.

I can't hear Dirty Old Town without getting chills. It perfectly describes my hometown, and hits me with waves of nostalgia every time I hear it. Such a beautiful song. There is such a haunting quality to Shane MacGowan's voice which perfectly compliments the dark, dreary, industrial description of the town he is singing about.

Favourite songs: Dirty Old Town, Sally MacLennan, The Sick Bed of Cuchulainn, A Pair of Brown Eyes, Jesse James, I'm a Man You Don't Meet Every Day, Navigator, The Gentleman Soldier, The Band Played Waltzing Matilda

Least favourite songs: The Old Main Drag

D'Angelo sounds like Dollar Store Usher. Not bad, I'm just not a huge fan of R&B. Conveniently though, D'Angelo has mixed his music with more upbeat hip hop so it isn't so fucking boring. He also has a pretty good voice, so that helps.

There are definately a few songs on this record that fall into the "songs to play while banging" category.

Favourite songs: Brown Sugar, Alright, Me and Those Dreamin' Eyes of Mine, Higher

Least favourite songs: "Shit, Damn, Motherfucker"

This is one of the more tolerable electronica/techno albums on this list. At 49 minutes of runtime, the album doesn't overstay its welcome, which is so popular with other albums in the genre. This music also has a back beat, or pulse to it which is absent from so many other electronica acts.

Most of the songs on the record flow into each other, making this record feel like one big concept album. This is neat, but makes it easy to zone out and miss a few song transitions making it hard to rate individual tracks.

Overall, surprised to say that it wasn't bad. Nothing spectacular, but average.

Favourite songs: Leave Home, In Dust We Trust, Song to the Siren, Three Little Birdies Down Beats, Chemical Beats

Least favourite songs: One Too Many Mornings, Playground for a Wedgeless Firm, Chico's Groove

Christina has a unique growl to her voice that comes out when she is emphasizing lyrics, and it is great! She has a beautiful singing voice, and I would say that of the 00's pop divas, Christina is the best. Her music has aspects of jazz, rock, and soul to it on top of the pop backdrop.

I feel like my ears need a shower after listening to Dirrty. I can distinctly remember seeing the music video on Much Music when I was in high school and thinking my eyes needed a shower after watching it too! So much sweaty gyrating!!

The album definately overstays its welcome, at 78 minutes of runtime, over 20 songs. There is only so much female led pop I can stomach at once. It isn't necessarily bad, it just gets old fast.

Favourite songs: Dirrty, Fighter, Beautiful, Underappreciated, Make Over, Can't Hold Us Down, The Voice Within

Least favourite songs: Stripped Intro, Primer Amor Interlude, Loves Embrace Interlude, "Stripped, Pt. 2", plus the dumb skit at the end of the album (fuck skits), Impossible

This album has such a feel good vibe to it, and You Can Call Me Al is such a banger!

The songs Diamonds on the Soles of Her Shoes & Homeless have a real African/ world music feel to them.

Favourite songs: You Can Call Me Al, All Around the World or the Myth of Fingerprints, That Was Your Mother, The Boy in the Bubble, Diamonds on the Soles of Her Shoes, Graceland, "Crazy Love, Vol. 2", Gumboots, Under African Skies, Homeless

Least favourite songs: I Know What I Know (simply because of the female accompaniment. Their echoed responses and harmonizing were kind of annoying).

Great.... More ambient alien sex music. This is not music as far as I can tell. My first thought was that it sounded like video game loading screen music, and turns out it is! These guys scored the music for GTA 5.

This garbage has no place on any greatest albums list. Reminds me a lot of Jean-Michel Jarre. The album generator wanted me to listen to the deluxe edition of this album, but fuck that. Like hell I'm subjecting myself to an extra almost 2 hrs of this shit. I'd rather listen to owls fuck.

Favourite song: Sequent C, simply because it is the shortest song on this shitty record.

Least favourite songs: All of it. No redeeming qualities. Utter trash. A waste of 38 minutes of my life.

Every time I hear the song Detroit Rock City, it reminds me of the movie of the same name. The movie follows some teenagers who are trying to get tickets to see KISS in concert. I'm not sure why this version of the song had a 1:30 skit about someone getting into a car and going for a drive, but the song itself is fantastic! There's also a 1:25 song at the end of the album (Rock 'N' Roll Party) that is just crowd cheering noises. Fuck skits.

KISS were so commercialized. Like comically so. I don't know why they became the focus of the parent groups calling them satanic. They're one of the lightest, most synthesized rock groups, almost verging on pop rock or some shit. Keith Moon lived a more rock and roll lifestyle than any member of KISS, and Alice Cooper was beheading himself on stage most nights, but KISS's pyrotechnics and Gene Simmons' long ass tongue was just too much for the parents. Maybe it's because KISS sang about banging things, but fuck so did the Who (Squeeze Box for example).

You know how The Monkees were a farcical pop band who's only reason for existing was a tv show? KISS was the Monkees of rock music.

Favourite songs: Shout It Out Loud, God of Thunder, Detroit Rock City, Beth

Least favourite songs: Great Expectations, Rock 'N' Roll Party

This album reeks of 90's R&B/pop cheese. Add in a few hip hop collaborations, and you are left with this mediocre record.

Mariah's seemingly seductive, breathy, whispered vocal delivery, interspersed with banshee wailing high notes is grating. At almost an hour of runtime, it feels like it overstayed its welcome.

I had an issue differentiating one song from another. It sounds like Mariah found a recipe for a song structure and stuck to it, only changing the flavor up a bit when other artists were featured on songs.

Overall, not my favourite genre, or artist. At least it wasn't her Christmas album!! I was never a fan of Mariah's music, and this record didn't help matters much.

Favourite songs: Honey, Butterfly, Whenever You Call

Least favourite songs: Babydoll

The Soft Boys sound like Sgt. Pepper era Beatles mixed with REM. The highs are high, but the lows are low too. There's a lot of psychadelic exploration going on on this album. Also, 40 songs is way too much for an album. By the end of the almost 2.5hr runtime I had really lost focus and was just wishing for it to be over.

Favourite songs: Wey Wey Hep Uh Hole, Positive Vibrations, I Wanna Destroy You, Queen of Eyes, There's Nobody Like You

Least favourite songs: Insanely Jealous of You, Old Pervert, He's a Reptile, Vegetable Man, Strange, Like a Real Smoothie, She Wears My Hair, Leave Me Alone

This album would be perfect elevator music or call center hold music. It's ok, but very boring. It all tends to run together and makes it hard to differentiate between the songs. It was perfect Sunday morning music to sit back and sip a coffee to, but it isn't something upbeat or interesting enough for me to really want to listen to again.

Favourite songs: My Foolish Heart, You Didn't Have to Be So Nice

Least favourite songs: Parade (A Banda)

These guys sound like a Dollar store version of Sloan. Very "of the time". Early 90's soft rock/indie pumped out so many bands that sounded like this. Admittedly, this is one of the better Scottish acts I've heard on this generator.

This music is so generic, I keep drifting off and losing focus on the album. There isn't much here that sets these guys out from the droves of similar acts.

This album cover is terrible. This is something that any computer literate individual could recreate in MS Paint in about 3 minutes.

Favourite songs: Star Sign, Metal Baby

Least favourite songs: Is This Music?
